What Did Jesus Look Like? Popular Perception vs the Evidence

Have you ever wondered why Jesus Christ is always pictured as a white European with long straight hair and blue eyes? But what does the Bible and cultural/historical/anthropological/forensic evidence say about this long-haired, fair-skinned and blue-eyed Jesus — is he the real deal?
