Tim Tebow is apparently hot with Europeans as well, as reports indicate that an Italian football team wants to woo the former NFL star for $200,000.
Tim Tebow has been offered a four-month contract by the Italian federation for American football.
Tim Tebow, who hasn’t played in the NFL this season after being cut by the Patriots, has been offered a four-month contract by the Italian federation for American football.
The Milano Seamen say they would be “more than happy” to sign the free-agent quarterback.
Excerpts of an offer sent by federation president Leoluca Orlando to Tebow’s representatives were posted on the federation’s website Thursday.
Seamen president Marco Mutti tells The Associated Press, “The offer has been made to his agent and now we’re waiting for a response. … We would be more than happy to have him.”
A federation spokesman tells the AP that the offer is for $200,000.
