Should Christians Pose Naked, Semi-Nude? (Mature)

Tim Tebow’s ‘Jesus Pose’, Stephen Baldwin Semi-Nude, Lolo Jones and Ryan Hall in the Buff, and Jeremy Lin Seen in Bed

Over the summer, I had a friend who found it troublesome that Lolo Jones, an outspoken Christian who also happens to be an Olympic hurdler (and now a bobsledder), had posed nude for ESPN magazine. Whatever criticism she faced for that decision, she brought on herself, he felt. Then there was Tim Tebow’s photo shoot for GQ magazine, in which he appears topless standing in what some call a “Jesus pose” mimicking the crucifixion. Tebow appears shirtless quite frequently and many athletes are asked to show off their sculpted bodies for photo shoots — but can a Christian pose nude, semi-nude or get caught coming out of bed and avoid becoming an object of lust?

Is it acceptable for Christians to pose nude in the name of “art”? Does the Bible say anything for or against nudity? Does nudity overlap with sexuality, or can the two be mutually exclusive?
